Book Cart Drill Team Competition

If you weren't at the Wisconsin Library Association (WLA) conference last week to see the 1st Annual Book Cart Drill Team Competition, you're in luck because intrepid MATS blogger Paula Ganyard recorded a video of the competition and posted it to YouTube.

The winning team advanced to the national competition in Chicago at the American Library Association Annual Conference in July 2009, and received a $250 gift certificate.

The Associated Press picked up the article from the Wisconsin State Journal, so newspaper articles about the Competion appeared in the Chicago Tribune, and even the Winnipeg Sun! (Tip of the hat to Pete Gilbert for sussing out the far-flung reportage.)

This is one of a series of National Library Week videos from the American Library Association. You can watch all of them at http://alfocus.ala.org/categories/national-library-week.
