Creating a Desktop Shortcut to a Web Page

You can create a shortcut on your computer's desktop to a page you've visited in Firefox.

Here's how:

  1. Resize the Firefox window so it's small enough so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Firefox window on the same screen.
  2. Click on the site icon next to the Location bar where the web address is shown.
  3. While still holding down the mouse button, drag the site icon to your computer's desktop, and then release the mouse button.
  4. Now you can click the shortcut any time you want to go back to that web page.
