Printing Collated Multi-Page Documents

If you're printing more than one copy of a multiple-page Word document, set it so they'll print out collated to save yourself to work of doing it manually. The trick is remembering to click one little box...

Here's how:

  1. In Word (this works in both versions 2003 or 2007) press the Ctrl and P keys to open the Print dialog box.
  2. Choose the number of copies you want printed.
  3. Click on the Collate check box.
  4. Click on the OK button.
  5. Check the printer — your copies should be collated & ready to share.
