Find All Mail from a Sender Quickly in Outlook

When you're searching for an email message you've received from someone, it's easy to have Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 find all messages from a sender, across all your folders (Inbox, Sent Items, any folders or subfolders you've created, etc.)

Here's how to do it...

Outlook 2007:

  1. Click on any message from the sender, in any folder
  2. On Outlook's menu bar, click Tools
  3. In the menu that opens up, click Instant Search

     
  4. Click Messages from Sender
  5. This will open a window displaying all email from the same sender; just click an email message to open it.

Outlook 2003:

  1. Click on any message from the sender, in any folder
  2. On Outlook's menu bar, click Tools
  3. In the menu that opens up, click Find

     
  4. Click Messages from Sender
  5. This will open a window displaying all email from the same sender; just click an email message to open it.
